The 2025 1oz gold Britannia coin from The Royal Mint. Each of these coins contains 31.1 grams of pure 9999 fine (24-carat) gold. Our 2025 gold Britannia coins are sourced directly from The Royal Mint’s refinery in Wales.

The design on the reverse of the 2025 gold Britannia 1oz coin features the classic image of Lady Britannia, with the updated security features that makes the Britannia one of the most secure coins in the world. The obverse of the coin features the official effigy of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.

The Britannia is the official gold bullion coin of the UK, and the 2025 gold Britannia one ounce coin is a great choice for UK investors. With a £100 face value it is a legal tender coin in the UK making it exempt from Capital Gains Tax (CGT) in addition to being VAT-free.
