The Royal Mint has released a special 2022 Proof 50p silver coin in honor of Queen Elizabeth II, marking the first 50p coin to feature King Charles III. This historic coin showcases Martin Jennings’ portrait of King Charles III on the obverse (front), while the reverse side features a design originally created by heraldic artist Edgar Fuller and modeled by Cecil Thomas for the 1953 coronation crown.

Minted in sterling silver (925) and weighing 8 grams, this Proof coin comes in an elegant presentation box with a certificate of authenticity and a full-color booklet.
