The 2024 half ounce Britannia gold coin is made of 24-carat gold (999.9 fineness).The new 2024 Britannia ranges boasts four new special security features, including a trident hologram which changes to a padlock when the coin is tilted. Other features include new detailing to Britannia’s shield, a second inner circle of Latin text, and a micro-detail wave effect in the coin’s background.This bullion coin has a face value of £50.00. Due to their status as British Legal tender they are Capital Gains Tax Free (CGT Exempt). This coin contains one-half troy ounce (15.55 grams) of fine gold. This coin is 99.99% (24 carat) gold.
